A Guide for Dealing with Intense
Challenging Behaviors

Tired of workshops full of irrelevant hypothetical situations and

magical unicorns

I mean, impractical solutions—that seem impossible to implement? What happens when you have tried everything and nothing works? When professionals or parents say, "I've tried that idea!" or "That doesn't work", they are not talking about the strategy itself. They are really trying to describe their struggle to implement the strategy.

—  Kindergarten Teacher, Sonoma country day school
Seminar was great! I really liked how it jumped right into the practical strategies. Often presentations waste a lot of time going on over basics. This was practical, inspiring and gave me hope. The presenter Dr Angela is wonderful and really engaging!!!!!

I understand the challenges you face as an educator.  From my early beginnings as a naptime teacher in 1990 to working as a child development specialist  for the Department of Children and Family Services to working as a mental health consultant, I've dealt with some incredibly tough behaviors and complex family dynamics.

It's easy to feel overwhelmed by the weight of this responsibility and underappreciated, but I want you to know there is a better way.  The Push Past It framework includes practical and research-backed techniques that anyone can use to manage challenging behaviors and create supportive environments where every child can thrive.

From this research and real-life experience, the Push Past It framework was born and I've guided thousands through the intricacies of this profession with a real, raw and humorous approach.

Now is the time to take control of your journey as an educator and reclaim your passion for working with children.  Let's equip you with the tools needed to put you back in the driver's seat and make a lasting impact in the lives of the little ones you take care of. They are counting on you, and I'm here to help you every step of the way.
